Welcome to the Catholic Schools Office website!

Catholic schools in the Diocese of Wilmington educate and form students in the light of Jesus Christ.

There are 35 Catholic schools in the Diocese of Wilmington. These schools represent a wide diversity of programs and services and educate students in preschool, elementary, middle and secondary programs.

Catholic schools may be parochial, regional, diocesan, independent or private. The diversity of programs and activities reflect the many ways in which our schools provide Catholic education of the highest quality to families served.

All eligible Catholic elementary and secondary programs are accredited by the Middle State Association of Colleges and Schools. Catholic schools follow an instructional program which meets or exceeds the state and national standards established for learning.

Most importantly, Catholic schools provide an atmosphere for learning which is infused with Catholic values and which incorporates Catholic teaching, virtues, practices, community and service in every aspect of the learning. Parents are welcomed as essential partners in the educational and catechetical formation of their children.

While all schools are uniquely Catholic, students from all faiths are welcome and appreciated in our schools. To see a listing of Catholic schools, please click here.
