Religious Education

Welcome to the Office for Religious Education!

“The ministry of the Word is a fundamental element of evangelization through all its stages, because

it involves the proclamation of Jesus Christ, the eternal Word of God.

The word of God nourishes both evangelizers and those who are being evangelized so that each one

may continue to grow in his or her Christian life.”

Catechetical Sunday- September 17, 2023

“Come to me all you who labor and are burdened.” – Matthew 11:28

Please know of my thoughts and prayers for you and your catechists who have offered your “fiats” in participating in this most sacred and time-honored ministry.  This year’s theme, “Come to me all you who labor and are burdened” Matthew 11:28. This year’s theme will highlight the invitation we receive from the Lord Jesus to follow Him and the promise that He doesn’t want to add to our burdens; he wants to lighten them.
