FUND DEVELOPMENT AND PUBLIC RELATIONS ASSOCIATE – DEVELOPMENT OFFICE
The Diocese of Wilmington is seeking an experienced professional for a Full-time position in the Development Office. Reporting to the Diocese of Wilmington Development Director, the Fund Development and Public Relations Associate is responsible for actively supporting the fundraising and communications activities of Catholic Charities. The position works in collaboration with Catholic Charities’ Executive Director, the Board Chair and members of the Board to identify, solicit, and record gifts in support of Catholic Charities and its mission. This includes; but is not limited to, assisting in the annual Tribute Dinner,
and other special events, conducting annual direct mail fund drives, overseeing grant writing initiatives, and determining short and long term fundraising goals to sustain and support the institution.
The position will also plan and implement public relations and marketing activities working continually to raise the visibility of Catholic Charities in the community through public relations; including but not limited to the website, social media, and other institutions of the Diocese of Wilmington, such as parishes and schools.

Part-time Tribunal Administrative Assistant
The Diocese of Wilmington is seeking an experienced professional for a part-time position in the Tribunal. This position directs the progress of petitions in the First Instance Court from beginning to end under the supervision of the Judicial Vicar. Position Schedule: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Duties include: Secretarial and Receptionist functions; gathering documentation; scheduling interviews; data entry and filing. Strong administrative, computer, and communication skills required. Accuracy, attention to detail, and discretion a must. Successful candidates will have a good understanding of the Roman Catholic Church’s doctrine on marriage, divorce, remarriage, and annulment.

Seasonal Groundskeepers-Janitorial and Light Landscaping
The Groundskeeper is responsible for cutting grass, trimming grave markers, assisting in burials, and helping keep grounds in good condition. They also participate in the grounds maintenance and landscape projects to include, but not limited to, mowing, trimming, foundation installations, tree trimming and supporting other cemetery locations. During the winter months this includes snow removal. Position is available immediately and will run for six months – ending in March or April 2021.
