Coordinator of Religious Education (Part-Time position) at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Wilmington, DE 

Primary responsibility for coordination and oversight of the traditional parish religious education program, and preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Secondary responsibility for general support of Faith Formation events and programs.

Qualifications:

  • Practicing Roman Catholic, active in the parish faith community
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Related education and experience to perform basic religious education responsibilities required
  • Must seek ongoing formation in Religious Education and Faith Formation
  • Must have strong communication, interpersonal, and technology skills with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Able to learn Parish Data Systems, using it as system of record
  • Motivated, self-starter, able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
  • Able to work and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, families, and children
  • Able to work independently and in a multicultural environment

Coordinator of Religious Education

Sacred Heart Parish in Chestertown, MD is seeking a part-time Coordinator of Religious Education to implement and evaluate all formal Religious Education in the Parish with emphasis on First through 10th grade for approximately 30 students. The Coordinator is responsible for catechist formation, sacramental preparation, children’s home study, and adult faith formation opportunities.

Minimum required qualifications will include:

  • Practicing Catholic in good standing committed to the authentic teachings of the Catholic Faith.
  • An associate’s degree and knowledge, skills and abilities obtained through 5 years of parish catechetical experience and leadership. (Bachelor’s degree in religious education, theology, teaching or general education with parish experience preferred)

Catholic Cemeteries Inc. is seeking 2 Seasonal Caretakers/Groundskeepers to work at All Saints Cemetery located in Wilmington, Delaware responsible for cutting grass, trimming grave markers, assisting in burials, and helping keep grounds in good condition. They also participate in the grounds maintenance and landscape projects to include, but not limited to, mowing, trimming, foundation installations, tree trimming and supporting other cemetery locations.  During the winter months this includes snow removal.  Positions are available through the 1st week of October.
