Catholic Charities offering new sessions of CADC training in New Castle County

Register now for the new sessions of both the basic and advanced classes for Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor training in New Castle County.

Classes are now offered in both New Castle and Kent Counties. The New Castle County classes are held at Catholic Charities’ main office, 2601 W 4th Street, Wilmington. Dr. Patrick Harker, UD President, will receive 2012 Msgr. Reese Award

Catholic Charities will bestow upon Dr. Patrick Harker, President of the University of Delaware, the 2012 Msgr. Thomas J. Reese Award at our Annual Tribute Dinner, Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Catholic Charities moves its Kent County office

Catholic Charities has a new larger and more accessible home in Kent County. Our new address is 2099 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, Delaware 19901.

In Kent County, Catholic Charities provides addiction and substance abuse counseling, basic needs assistance in the form of emergency financial grants for rent, utility, or prescription help, routine outpatient mental health counseling, pregnancy counseling, immigration support, the Delaware Energy Assistance Program, the Child and Adult Care Food Program, and Intensive Outpatient Counseling for children.

Regular hours of operation for the Kent County Office are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. Some evening appointments are available. To make an appointment for service, call 302-674-1600.



Catholic Charities merges Maryland operations

Catholic Charities has merged our Maryland operations into one location, providing Maryland residents the opportunity to receive basic needs services, mental health counseling, thrift services, immigration assistance, and family strengthening programs at Seton Center.

Seton Center is located at 30632 Hampden Avenue, Princess Anne, MD 21853. Regular hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Limited evening appointments are available on Tuesdays until 7 pm. To make an appointment for service, call 410-651-9608
