August 30, 2019 — (Dagsboro, DE) — The Most Rev. W. Francis Malooly, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, will preside at the 17th annual Mass of Remembrance at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery located at 32112 Vines Creek Road in Dagsboro, Delaware, on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. All those who were laid to rest in the cemetery over the previous year, will be especially remembered at the Mass. Seating and protection from the weather will be provided.
Liturgical ministers from St. Jude the Apostle Church in Lewes will assist. Members of Mason-Dixon VFW Post 7234, Ocean View, Delaware, will give a military tribute prior to the start of Mass.
Established in 2002 to serve southern Delaware and the nearby counties of Maryland, Gate of Heaven is professionally managed by Catholic Cemeteries, Inc. In a spirit of ecumenism, all Christian denominations may elect to arrange for burial at the cemetery.
