As you are aware from the Catholic media the third edition of the Roman Missal has been issued to begin use in the diocese of the United States on the First Sunday of Advent (November 28, 2011). The date of next Advent was set by the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops to allow each diocese and parish adequate time for preparation and catechesis.  It is extremely important to begin our process of implementation and allow the needed time to prepare our parishes.  Please refer to the Roman Missal link for further information. 

RCIA NETWORKING

RCIA team members are encouraged to attend networking meetings. For information, contacts are Pamela Nash at Pamelasnash @aol.com or Michelle Harris at sfdsdre@dmv.com. Communication can be made directly through them if you will send them your e-mail address.
Also, we will begin monthly meetings for Team Members. During these meetings the Rites will be explored and various other topics such as Catechists, sponsors, etc. All RCIA information will be given at these meetings. Watch your mail for further details. pamelasnash@aol.com
