Immigration and Citizenship Guidance
The purpose of the Immigration and Citizenship Guidance Program is to assist individuals and families with immigration and citizenship issues related to their legal status in the United States which are causing, may cause, or have caused family separation and difficulties in personal, social, and economic adjustment.
Eligibility for the services is based on the existence of issues with immigration and citizenship because of legal status, inability to resolve this issue without assistance, and residence within the Diocese of Wilmington.
The program serves those:
- seeking admission into the country
- seeking permanent status
- seeking citizenship
- seeking renewal of permanent resident cards
- seeking family reunification
- needing assistance while temporarily in the United States
The Refugee Resettlement Program provides reception, placement and monitoring services for cases assigned through an agreement with the United States Catholic Conference.
