Immigration and Refugee Resettlement Programs

How Catholic Charities Helps
Catholic Charities’ Immigration Program lends a hand to persons and families with immigration and citizenship matters. Our counselors are accredited by the Board of Immigration Appeals and will help resolve issues related to a person’s legal status in the United States that are causing, may cause, or have caused family separation and problems in personal, social and economic adjustment.
If you need assistance with immigration and citizenship matters because:
— of your legal status
— you have not been able to resolve a problem without professional help
— you live or work in the Diocese of Wilmington
you may be able to get help from Catholic Charities.
The program serves those:
— seeking admission into the country
— seeking permanent status
— seeking citizenship
— seeking family reunification
— needing assistance while temporarily in the United States
— renewing USCIS documentation
The Refugee Resettlement Program provides reception, placement and monitoring services for cases assigned through a contract with United States Catholic Conference of Bishops (USCCB).
