Established in 1992, the Diocese of Wilmington's Education Trust Fund, Vision for the Future, provides funds for Catholic education, specifically to enhance school curriculum, offer tuition assistance, supplement teacher compensation, provide opportunities for professional development and enrichment and fund capital improvements for schools.
The responsibility of the Development Office is the distribution of these funds, restricted to the support of student tuition assistance.
Applications for assistance are available in January of each year through the diocesan 22 elementary schools and five high schools, and are offered to low- and middle-income families who are struggling with tuition expenses.
