Patrick Donovan serves as the Executive Director for the Office for Catholic Youth Ministry. He holds a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and an MA in theology from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind. Prior to coming to the Diocese of Wilmington, Patrick served as a parish youth minister and theology instructor in the Diocese of Knoxville, TN. He is the co-author of Reaching Teens through Film, Volumes 9, 10 and 11 and is a regular contributor to Youth Ministry Access, an online ministry service provided by the Center for Ministry Development. His most recent book, Using the Remote to Channel Jesus is available from St. Mary's Press. Joe McNesby became the Director of CYM Sports in March 2007 after having served 18 years as the Coordinator for Athletic Programs. He directs program that includes 560+ teams and 1,100 volunteer coaches. Joe is a lifelong resident of the Wilmington, attended St. Elizabeth Elementary School and grew up playing CYO basketball and baseball. Joe received an AAS degree from the University of Delaware in 1971 and joined the Delaware State Police in 1972. During his time with the Delaware State Police, Joe was a member of the Youth Aid Division and coached in the Police Youth Basketball League. In 2006 Joe received the National Youth Ministry Award for outstanding contribution to the field in the area of Athletics. Joe and his wife, Sharon, have four children and two grandchildren. Jennifer Watson has served as the Support Staff for CYM since July 2003. Prior to joining CYM Jen was a child care counselor for the Catholic Charities group homes. Jen is responsible for the management of the office and oversees the CYM online registration.
