Counseling and Mental Health Treatment
The Counseling and Mental Health Services program provides:
§ counseling and mental health services for adults, couples, families,
and groups;
§ counseling and mental health services for children and adolescents;
§ family and marriage counseling;
§ services for the elderly;
§ psychiatric consultations
Treatment is available for those experiencing emotional and psychological problems such as anxiety, depression, behavior and social adjustment issues. Services are also offered to those seeking to improve their interpersonal relationships and communications with family members, coworkers, classmates and others. Payments for these services are often covered by health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. In the event of an individual having no insurance coverage a sliding fee schedule is available.
