visit your Legislators to inform them of your views on social issues.

You
may designate your donation to a specific Catholic Charities program, or to
those who need it most. You can also
donate in memory of a deceased loved one, or in honor of a living person. Please note which ministry you want your
donation to benefit on the online form under “Direct my donation to” or in the
memo line of your check. For a memorial
request, enter the person’s name on the “Donation in memory of” line. To honor a living person, enter the person’s
name on the “Donation in honor of” line.
You can also add this information on the memo line of your check.
Donate
non-perishable food items, hygiene supplies, or other household
essentials. You can also donate gift
cards to grocery stores for perishable items.
Call the Catholic Charities office location nearest you for information.
Donate
gently used clothing, household goods, furniture, and appliances to our Thrift
Center. The Northeast Wilmington store
offers pickup services for large donations.

Educate others and renew
yourself
Take part in activities like the Salt & Light Program, Catholic Social
Teaching, Outreach Retreats, Networking Meetings, the annual AIDS Walk, and the
Right to Life March. Call Catholic

Volunteer
Catholic
Charities has volunteer opportunities on both a one-time and continuing
basis. We have needs for continuing
volunteers to help with clerical, fundraising, mentoring, and thrift center
activities. One-time activities include
helping with food and clothing drives, and building and property maintenance.
