Bishop Saltarelli has called for the implementation of the program throughout the Diocese of Wilmington. His letter appears on the site.
For the Sake of God’s Children is a program focused on the continuous development of a safe environment in our communities. The program has three major components:
- Conducting Background Checks for Church Personnel
- Ethical and Behavioral Standards for Church Personnel
- Safe Environments
Within each of these three sections you will find the helpful for implementing the program.
A fourth and fifth section also appear on this site :
- Parish/School Meeting Materials which provides the parish leadership with the necessary assistance in conducting the meetings that may be required in their parishes to implement the program.
- Resource Materials contains various resources to continue the education of the parish/school community.
